Champion Style 36 Graflon™ is an advanced compression packing manufactured from expanded PTFE yarn with sub-micron colloidal graphite particles chemically encapsulated into the fiber matrix and treated with high-temperature break-in lubricants. The integrated graphite provides excellent thermal conductivity that dissipates heat rapidly away from the pump shaft, preventing sleeve hardening and wear even at high peripheral speeds up to 25 m/s (5000 ft/min).
