Champion Teflon Tape - Champion PTFE Thread Sealant Tape is a high purity, high density tape manufactured using premium grade virgin PTFE. Champion PTFE Tapes are resistant to a broad range of corrosive chemicals, gases, acids and liquids.

Applications: Champion PTFE Thread Sealant Tapes are used for various media applications ranging from corrosive chemicals, water, gas, lubricant, oil.

OPERATING PARAMETERS:

  • Minimum Service Temperature: -240°C / -400°F (Cryogenic Service)
  • Maximum Operating Temperature: +260°C / +500°F
  • Maximum System Pressure: Gas: 2 MPa / 20 Bar (300 psi) | Liquids: 0.7 MPa / 7 Bar (100 psi)
  • Threaded Parts Material: Suitable for all metal (SS, MS, Brass, Copper) and plastic valves & pipes.
  • Chemical Resistance: Extreme resistance to chemicals, corrosives, caustics, oils, solvents, and industrial gases (including Oxygen service).
  • Approved for Use: Food processing, chemical, medical, water, steam, gases, and oils. HPCL, BPCL & IOCL approved for LPG/CNG cylinder valves.
