CHAMPION Style 68CT PURE EXPANDED GRAPHITE GLAND PACKING

Champion Style 68 CT Non Metallic Pure Graphite Packing is manufactured from flexible graphite that is expanded and formed into a yarn and then braided without binders or wire reinforcement. It is treated with corrosion inhibitor.

The finished product retains all the inherent benefits of flexible graphite:

  • Proper dissipation of heat due to good thermal conductance.
  • High Chemical Resistance.
  • Low co-efficient of friction.
  • Self lubrication and non Abrasive.

Applications: Champion Style 68 CT(NM)-Gland Packing has outstanding properties at high temperature, high pressure making it a truly multi-service packing in valves, pumps, expansion joints, mixers and agitators in the environments of hydrocarbon processing, pulp and paper, power generation, metal-working, steel mills and other industries.

Service Media: Water, Superheated and saturated steam, oils, organic solvents, hydrocarbons, chemical products, petrochemicals, thermic fluids, corrosive fluids (other than oxidizing acids) and low temperature fluids. Recommended for continuous pressures only.

Champion Style 68 CT(M) Graphite Reinforced(Metallic) Packing is manufactured from high purity flexible graphite that is diagonal braided of pure, expanded flexible graphite ribbons, reinforced with fine metallic wires. It is treated with corrosion inhibitor.

Applications:

CHAMPION Style 68 CT(M) Graphite Reinforced (Metallic) Packing is recommended as a multi-service packing for use in high pressure / high temperature valve stems, steam valves and turbines, motor-actuated valves, reactors, mixers, agitators and autoclaves. Suitable for use with superheated steam and saturated steam, hydrocarbons, petrochemicals, thermic fluids and hot oils. Champion 68 CT(M) is an excellent alternative to high temperature / high pressure asbestos valve packing's.

Service Media:

Steam, water, fuel, gases, condensate, oils, effluents, process water and chemical solutions in all processes, except with highly oxidizing media.

CHAMPION Natural Fibre Gland Packing Style 3116 is a economical packing which is braided from soft long staple natural cotton fibre yarn impregnated with a blend of special run in lubricants and graphite dispersion to ensure heat withstanding capacity in operations.

CHAMPION Style 1 Drylon™ Premium 100% Dry PTFE Gland Packing

CHAMPION DRYLON™ Style 1 Packing is an interlocked braided packing made of premium FDA approved food grade pure dry ePTFE fibre yarn. It is non-toxic, and contains no lubricants or additives.

Key Features:

  • Very low coefficient of friction.
  • Good dimensional stability.
  • Long service-free life, with virtually no volume loss due to chemical action.
  • Minimal wear on shafts and sleeves.
  • Very little gland adjustment needed after initial installation.
  • High Compressibility.

Applications: CHAMPION DRYLON™ Style 1 Packing is commonly used in valves and lower shaft speed applications, Slow speed centrifugal, reciprocating pumps and other rotary equipment in applications where hygiene and the low friction characteristics of pure PTFE are required. It is also suitable for use with potable water, food contact applications and pharmaceutical products since it does support bacterial growth or cause product contamination.

Service Media: Inert to chemicals within the range pH 0-14, excluding molten alkali metals, fluorine compounds and aqua regia. Can be used in concentrated acids, alkalies and aggressive vapours and gases.
